On the outside I appeared the picture of success. Graduated from the Boston Conservatory, married a lawyer, released a debut record at NYC’s notorious Mercury Lounge and - at the same time - became the youngest director in a Fortune 500 company. Nothing less than perfection would do. This blinding ambition was driven by generational sin and childhood trauma that taught me things about myself, God and the world that were not true. I was living according to lies that led me into decades of chaos and eventually cost me everything. Enter Jesus. In grace and love, God replaced the lies I was believing with His truth and restored my life with unimaginable beauty. There was chaos, but now there is peace. There was sadness, but now there is joy. There was loss, but now there is abundance. I want to tell everyone that this is our God and this is what He is doing. He is working and He is restoring. He is making all things new. He is the source of every good thing and He is enough. I would love the opportunity to share my story with you. Melanie devotes her life to creating worship experiences that help restore hope by reminding people who they are and that God is still at work in their lives.
Melanie and her husband Scott are currently touring most months of the year, and when they are not, they split their time between Fla. & Nashville. Melanie earned her Master of Divinity in Homiletics at Liberty University in 2025.
