ABOUT REPLACING THE LIES SPIRITUAL MENTORSHIP
Replacing The Lies (RTL) is a spiritual care program developed by Melanie Waldman that is offered to churches as an on-site workshop and offered online as an 8-week mentorship. RTL explores Genealogy & Forgiveness, Gratitude & Promises, Boundaries & Testimonies, Worship & Surrender and Replacing the Lies; It draws wisdom from the Holy Bible and scholarly sources such as “Side by Side,” Ed Welch, “Purpose Driven Life,” Rick Warren, and “Boundaries,” Paul David Tripp.
Whether you’ve been walking with the Lord for decades or have never experienced the joy of an intimate relationship with God, RTL Spiritual Mentorship is for you. Everyone of us holds beliefs based on falsehoods that the world has imparted to us. We go about our days unknowingly operating according to these false beliefs and wonder why trouble persists. Truth reaps goodness, but lies reap chaos. Replacing the Lies helps participants replace the lies they are believing with truth from God.

WHAT IS REPLACING THE LIES ABOUT?
RTL is about becoming aware of the character and nature of God and His love for us through the Bible and allowing the Holy Spirit reveal to us what we are believing that is out of alignment with this. As a participant’s faith, trust, and dependence on God grow, they are often able to let go of what was passed down or learned and fully embrace what God says is true and best for their life.
Just as living according to lies can lead to loss, destruction, broken relationships, addiction, and even death, living according to the Truth brings abundance and fullness—both in this life and in the life to come.
WHAT IS THE COST?
The cost for the program is $160. Participants should not feel pressured if they cannot afford this amount. Donations, in this or any amount, are accepted from participants as well as third-party donors who feel called to support this work. WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Think of any small group meet-up you’ve been part of or heard about. This is similar to an online small group Bible study in that fewer than 12 people meet and study the same Biblical material together. However, it differs from most small groups in that there is minimal cross-sharing and no peer-to-peer advice. We are all present—listening, learning, praying, and worshiping together—but at the same time, an intimate conversation is unfolding between each participant and God through personal journaling and prayer. This is where healing happens. And this is why anyone, at any stage of their faith journey, can join in and be set free.
